Glenfiddich Experimental Series – Project XX whisky 70cl

A fantastic addition to Glenfiddich’s Experimental Series, fusing Somersetian and Scottish elements! The Somerset Cider Brandy Co.’s Somerset Pomona Spirit, a mixture of apple cider brandy and apple juice, was formerly aged in the casks used to finish this single malt! This experiment began when Master Distiller Matilda Temperley of the Somerset Cider Brandy Co. met with Brian Kinsman, the Malt Master of Glenfiddich. The idea came during a walk through the old-fashioned orchards; the casks, packed with a magnificent malt core and shipped from Somerset to Scotland, were then allowed to mature. Excellent for a warm evening, maybe with a glass of cider first.
