Always a classic and a must-try for anybody curious about Japanese whisky. Suntory, who founded Yamazaki, the first distillery in Japan, is the owner of Hakushu. The initial Hakushu distillery was constructed in 1973, and in 1981 Hakushu Higashi (east) was completed as an additional distillery facility.
