Description
This twelve-year-old rum is part of the Ron Santiago de Cuba line. The distillery uses sugar cane cultivated in southeast Cuba to make its own molasses, which is distilled before the rum is allowed to rest in barrels made of white oak. The Don Pancho warehouse is where the casks are kept, and rumour has it that because of the nearby train tracks, the barrels quake slightly when the trains pass by! There’s plenty to relish in this well-crafted rendition from the Cuban distillers.
