Description
The first-ever Irish whisky to be aged in Bordeaux barrels using a single pot still! It’s important to note that the Bordeaux wine selection is particularly noteworthy. Ch. Loville Barton is a renowned grand cru Chteau that bears the name of its Irish moniker, ‘Wine Geese’ winemaker, Thomas Barton. In actuality, Loville Barton is still managed by his lineage today. This bottling honours our common Irish ancestry. This Green Spot whisky is first aged in a blend of ex-Oloroso Sherry, new American oak and ex-bourbon barrels. It is subsequently aged for a further 12 to 24 months in ex-Chteau Loville Barton Bordeaux wine casks.
