Megaphonics 2024 – Boxengasse

When celebrating all things Porsche, there’s no event quite like Megaphonics at Boxengasse. This annual gathering, now in its sixth year, is the largest Porsche reunion in the UK, drawing enthusiasts from all corners of the country to immerse themselves in the world of Porsche. Hosted at Boxengasse in Bicester, a haven for Porsche lovers owned by Frank Cassidy, the event brings together an incredible collection of accessories, modifications, and, of course, some of the most unique and vintage Porsche cars.

For City of London Cigars, the opportunity to be part of such a prestigious event was an exciting one. We were proud to bring our luxury experience to this vibrant community, offering enthusiasts the chance to enjoy fine cigars while surrounded by the finest automotive art at the Bicester Porsche event. 

City of London Cigars: A Luxurious Addition to the Event

At Megaphonics 2024, we added a touch of luxury to the event with our exclusive cigar lounge, perched on top of a Boxengasse trade stall. This terrace offered a perfect setting for enjoying a fine cigar, with stunning views of the event and the impressive array of Porsches below.

The cigar lounge quickly became a popular spot, drawing in enthusiasts who were eager to take a break and enjoy a moment of relaxation. The lounge provided ample seating, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere where guests could savour a cigar while discussing their favourite cars.

For this event, we carefully selected a range of cigars that would appeal to both seasoned aficionados and those new to the world of premium cigars. Our selection included some of our most popular offerings, known for their exceptional quality and rich flavours.

Connecting with the Cigar Community

One of the highlights of our participation in Megaphonics 2024 was the opportunity to connect with our customers and fellow cigar enthusiasts. Many attendees discovered our brand through Instagram Giveaways and were excited to see us in person at such a significant event.

Our time at @boxengasseco wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Trade Stall No. 16!  

Our trade stall offered more than cigars; it was a space where we could engage with the community, share our knowledge, and discuss the finer points of cigar enjoyment. 

Additionally, we provided free samples of the award-winning Tennessee Straight Bourbon whisky from Heavensdoor! Adding an extra layer of sophistication to the experience and enhancing the flavours of the cigars.
